For US public sector customers, our efforts are supported by and guided by nationwide initiatives and legislation, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (at the federal level) and a host of state laws and policies. Read more about Section 508 and other legislation.


Section 508 requires federal agencies to research accessibility features before purchasing technology products. HP offers a Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPAT) product database to provide detailed information on the accessibility features that support Section 508 requirements.
